Meet Cody, veterinary assistant
Cody grew up in a cattle-feeding/ranching family in Rocky Ford, Colorado.
He went to school at Oklahoma Panhandle State University for two years then transferred to Colorado State University Fort Collins while working at his dad’s 12,000-head feedlot.
He also graze 300-600 heifers each summer on the ranch. Cody grew up learning how to work and doctor cattle on many levels from the time he was 6 years old.
When the feedlot was sold, Cody pursued a Veterinary Assistant Certification from PIMA in Colorado Springs and has worked for several vet practices in southeast Colorado while completing his RVT licensing.
Cody now enjoys being on a team of caring professionals and bringing care and services to patients in the comfort and safety of their environments. Cody enjoys the challenge of large animal care but he also embraces the challenges of working with small animals.
